STEM Twitter Accounts

     Today, we set up Twitter accounts to use in and for the STEM Learning Community. I believe that this idea is very beneficial in many different ways.
     One benefit is that we are able to communicate with others in STEM all over the country. The STEM hashtags are used to show different projects and ideas developed with others just like me. We are also able to share our own ideas with others, even those who aren't in the STEM community. People interested in STEM technology can follow the hashtags or members of the community to keep updated. Our accounts can show and create an interest in this field.
     Another benefit is that we as a STEM community are exposed to different colleges, scholarship, and job opportunities, and they are exposed to us. Our ideas and learning experiences that are posted can be viewed by these agencies. This can help o[en new opportunities for all of us in the STEM community.
     Twitter may just be a way to follow celebrities, but this technology can also spread inspiration and innovative ideas on science, mathematics, technology, and engineering with the world.
