Dial Caliper

     Today, we learned how to use a dial caliper in class. A dial caliper is a measuring tool that is extremely accurate. It can measure accurately all the way to the thousandths. They are very useful when it comes to needing very specific measurements and they are fairly easy to read. They are important to engineering because their measurements are very hard to be affected by human error. Dial calipers were a very insightful and useful invention, and they continue to further help those in the engineering world.
